GUEST POST // Le Fanciulle x Hello Parry at TPFF 2014

Hey there! It's Trish here from the Perth-based fashion blog Le Fanciulle with a guest post for my new go-to online destination!

If you hadn't already seen, Hello Parry rocked the runway a couple of weeks ago at the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival with an impressive array of looks for Spring & Summer.

Flanked by concurrently-running SS/15 collections from international fashion festivals, I was excited to see HP keeping up with the sartorial offerings & continuing to deliver the fashion-forward looks (as if they had been borrowed straight off the NYFW runway!).

Check out my short edit below featuring some of my favourite outfits and key looks for this Season.  If you've got the moxie to stay ahead of the fash-pack, you'll need the clothes to match!

Congrats to Sandy & her crew for putting on such a fun show - there are plenty more looks, but it'd be too long to post all the photos!

TRENDING // A Monochrome Moment

Okay, so the monochrome trend has been doing the sartorial rounds for a fair while now but, it's safe to say this classic craze isn't going away anytime soon.

We've rounded up our favourite pieces and come up with ensembles that will have you transitioning from spring to summer without a care for colour.

WHAT TO WEAR // Telstra Perth Fashion Festival 2014

The Telstra Perth Fashion Festival is fast approaching and, if you're anything like us at Hello Parry HQ, we're already thinking about what to wear to Perth's premier fashion event! After all, who doesn't want to get snapped by TPFF's streetstyle photographers?

Here's what we've got our eye on, what you need to wear to get photographed at TPFF, and how you can shop them from Hello Parry.

1. Ruffle some feathers

With the weather warming up, short hemlines are a bold but essential choice for a spring fashion festival. The flirtier the skirt, the better.

Shop Hello Parry favourites:

1. Susie Fluted Neoprene Skirt - Pepper Grey or Black
3. Sonia Neoprene Trumpet Skirt in Black or Yellow
4. Melissa Ruffle Neoprene Skirt

2. Colour Theory

It sounds obvious, but one of the easiest ways to stand out from the fashion festival pack is to wear colour. And lots of it. For those of you still dipping your toes into the colour trend, why not try a felted wool fedora in a bold hue?

3. Prints Please

Another sure-fire way to get the attention of streetstyle photographers is to clash your prints. It's fun, it's bold, it's so high fashion.

Shop the look: Ava Geometric Top and Shorts
